Tasks

We are looking for a skilled professional who ensures a secure, reliable and future‑ready IT environment. You will manage security systems, server and network infrastructures, virtualization platforms and automation initiatives.

• Strengthen IT security — Administration of firewalls, endpoint security systems and continuous improvement of security policies

• Ensure system stability — Operation of Windows servers, network environments, virtualization platforms and backup/storage solutions

• Monitoring & automation — Implementation of monitoring tools and automation of recurring IT tasks

• Optimize IT operations — Troubleshooting, performance analysis and continuous infrastructure improvements

• Drive security evolution — Contribution to future security and cloud architecture initiatives

Profile

• Degree in IT or comparable technical qualification

• At least 3 years of experience in network administration, IT security or Windows/virtualization environments

• Experience with firewalls, security policies and endpoint security

• Knowledge of backup and storage systems is an advantage

• German language skills at C1 level, English skills beneficial

• Willingness to work regularly on‑site in the South Westphalia region (hybrid work possible)
