Tasks

Your tasks as a Senior Mainframe Developer:

• Conception, design, and implementation of complex solutions in the mainframe environment, especially for the F3 portfolio and DA applications.
• Further development and maintenance of existing systems in the area of commission systems.
• Development and optimization of batch and online processing.
• Close collaboration with business departments and other IT teams to ensure optimal system performance and functionality.
• Technical consulting and support for junior team members.
• Analysis and resolution of technical problems and incidents.
• Documentation of technical specifications and designs.

Profile

Your profile as a Senior Mainframe Developer:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of in-depth experience in mainframe development with a focus on PL/1, Cobol, DB2, and SQL.
• Profound knowledge of JCL, CICS, and IMS-DC is essential.
• Experience in the conception and implementation of batch and online processing.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken (professional level), are mandatory.
• Experience in the insurance domain is a significant advantage.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to work.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
