Development Engineer Power Electronics

Experienced Development Engineer with over 5 years of expertise in power electronics and high-voltage systems, specializing in the development and validation of Power Distribution Units (PDUs) for commercial vehicles. Possesses in-depth knowledge of circuit analysis, simulation, and commissioning of power electronic assemblies in an automotive environment. Responsible for requirements management and technical coordination with customers and internal teams.

Development and enhancement of high-voltage Power Distribution Units (PDUs) for commercial vehicles, including design of HV systems and protection concepts (relays, fuses, HVIL). Planning and execution of validation and release tests up to technical product release. System analysis of electrical and thermal interdependencies for the design and safeguarding of current paths. Analysis and simulation of electronic circuits (LTspice, PSpice), as well as commissioning and measurement of power electronic assemblies on test benches. Responsibility for requirements management (DOORS, Codebeamer) and technical collaboration with development, test, and system teams in an automotive environment. Hardware development in power electronics for HEV components, including measurement and analysis of electronics on test benches.
